Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how AI App Builder Architect (the "app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. The app is operated by Ben Barchad ("we", "us", "our"). By using the app, you agree to this policy.
1. What the App Does
AI App Builder Architect is a planning tool. It helps you turn an app idea into a structured text prompt that you can copy and paste into an external AI app builder (such as Base44, Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Cursor, or others). The app does not build, compile, run, or deploy software.
2. Information You Provide
You can use the core features of the app without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, or use the app's optional features, we may collect:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique authentication identifier from the provider.
- App content you submit. The text and selections you make in the app — including the app type, target audience, freeform idea description, chosen visual vibe, selected screens, yes/no answers, and any chat messages.
- Generated content. The architecture prompts and chat responses generated for you. If you are signed in, these are saved to your account so you can return to them later.
- Feedback. Thumb-up or thumb-down ratings you give on AI responses.
3. Information Collected Automatically
We collect a limited amount of technical information to keep the app running, secure, and stable, including device type, operating system version, app version, language, approximate region, crash diagnostics, and basic usage events. We do not use this information to track you across other apps or websites.
4. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the app's features.
- To generate the architecture prompts and chat responses you request.
- To save your apps, chats, and generated prompts when you are signed in.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train AI models on our own behalf.
5. AI Providers and Third-Party Services
To generate prompts, suggested screens, clarification questions, and chat responses, the text you submit is transmitted to one or more third-party AI providers for inference. The providers we use are:
- OpenAI (GPT models)
- Anthropic (Claude models)
- Google (Gemini models), including via Google Cloud Vertex AI
- Amazon Web Services (via AWS Bedrock, which may route requests to the providers above)
Only the text you submit (and the minimal context needed to generate the requested output) is sent to these providers. We do not send your name, email, or other identifying account data.
We also use the following service providers to run the app:
- Google Firebase — authentication, secure storage of your saved apps and chats, crash reporting, basic analytics, and remote configuration.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication.
- Google — Google Sign-In authentication.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms.
6. Affiliate Links
The app includes an optional affiliate link to Base44. If you tap it and later sign up at Base44, we may receive a referral commission at no cost to you. This is disclosed in the app as: "We may earn a commission. This doesn't affect your price." You are never required to use Base44 — you can use the generated prompt with any AI app builder.
7. Anonymous Use
You can complete the full app creation flow and generate, view, and copy your prompt without creating an account. In anonymous use we do not store your inputs on our servers beyond what is required to generate the response for the current session.
8. Data Retention
If you are signed in, we retain your saved apps, chats, and generated prompts until you delete them or delete your account. Crash and diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period as configured by Firebase. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile > Delete Account inside the app.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly inside the app or by contacting us at the address below. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (including the GDPR and the CCPA).
10. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
The app and its service providers operate globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses) where required.
12. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
